About your role and technology stack:
AKIPS Network Monitoring Software is an on-premises solution used by some of the largest organizations in the world. Our software is designed for network engineers to understand the performance of their IT network. We build the software tools that our customers love. As part of our close-knit team, you'll work closely with heterogeneous skilled staff to ensure timely high-quality code delivery. You'll have opportunities for personal and professional growth through coaching and feedback sessions with a choice to attend software development conferences. If you're passionate about making an impact and thriving in a collaborative environment, we want you on our team
Requirements
- Previous experience of 5 years of software engineering skills in C with proven track record. Preferably, in multi-threaded and complex memory management for high performance software.
- Interested in programming in Rust
- Strong knowledge of *NIX (e.g. FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
- Assist with release engineering process
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- The ability to assist in the design of software and system architecture
- Self-motivated and able work independently, with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly personality
- Networking background, e.g SNMP/ICMP/Routing/Switching - Advantage
